Lady Gaga is an American singer, songwriter and performance artist. She began performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side. Before making a name for herself, Lady Gaga wrote hit songs for labelmates New Kids on the Block, Fergie, the Pussycat Dolls, as well as for Britney Spears. After hearing Gaga sing while she was writing at Interscope, singer-songwriter Akon convinced the Interscope-Geffen-A&M decision makers to sign her to a joint deal with his own label, Kon Live Distribution. Akon then introduced her to RedOne where they produced several of her debut hit singles including "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". Now a fan is lucky to find Lady Gaga tickets anywhere.

The second Lady Gaga concert tour is currently underway, The Monster Ball Tour. The tour is to promote her second studio album, The Fame Monster. The tour was officially announced on October 15, 2009. Described by Gaga as "the first-ever 'pop electro opera,'" The Monster Ball began four days after the release of The Fame Monster. Rapper Kid Cudi and singer Jason DeRulo were confirmed as the supporting act for the American stop of the tour, while the band Alphabeat will support the UK stop of the tour.

Gaga and her production team developed a stage that looks like a frame with forced perspectives and everything for the show fitted within it. She felt that the design would allow her creative control. Since the album dealt with the paranoia faced by Gaga over the year, the main theme of the show became evolution with Gaga portraying growth as the show progressed. She compared the setting of the stage with that of a hollowed-out television set. The set list of the tour consisted of songs from The Fame Monster as well as her debut album, The Fame.

The Lady Gaga schedule has been set for The Monster Ball tour. The stops include North America, Britain, Europe, Asia and Australia / New Zealand. If Lady Gaga stays true to her style and art, anyone fortunate enough to attend is surely in for a treat.
